Background and Education
Rtr. Emmanuel Adekunle Onososen, ACA, MBA, MCIHRM, CHRP, is a Chartered Accountant with a leading accounting firm in Nigeria. He is a finance professional with strong expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, and he continues to provide value through his disciplined, ethical, and results-driven approach to professional practice.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, where he built a solid foundation in accounting principles, financial management, and business operations. In pursuit of advanced managerial and financial leadership skills, he obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, a prestigious institution renowned for academic excellence and leadership development. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management CIHRM) and also a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP).
Rotaract Life
Rtr. Emmanuel’s Rotary and Rotaract journey began in 2015, driven by a deep passion for service, leadership, and community development. He was formally inducted into the Rotaract Club of Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2016, where he served in various leadership capacities including Sergeant-at-Arms and Vice President, contributing significantly to club administration, discipline, membership engagement, and service delivery.
In 2018, he transitioned to a community-based club and joined the Rotaract Club of Abeokuta, where he continued to demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment to service. Within the club, he served as Public Image Chair, strengthening visibility and brand presence; Service Projects Director, leading impactful humanitarian and development-focused initiatives; and subsequently served as the 38th President of the club in 2024.
During his presidential year, celebrated as the Magical Rotary Year, the club recorded remarkable achievements under his leadership. The club emerged as Second Best community based club. The club also placed first in several categories including Basic Education and Literacy, Financial Reporting, and Economic and Community Development, among numerous other recognitions.
At the district level, Rtr. Emmanuel has served in several strategic and administrative capacities, including as a member of the District Electoral Committee, Basic Education and Literacy Committee, Membership Committee, Investiture Committee, International Service Project Committee, Great Trek Committee, District Conference Committee, and the Nigerota Committee. Through these roles, he has actively contributed to planning, coordination, and execution of impactful Rotaract and Rotary programs across District 9111 and other districts.
With an unwavering passion for service to humanity, Rtr. Emmanuel remains committed to driving sustainable community impact. He is the Lead Manager of the Rotaract Job Hub (RJH), an innovative initiative he conceived during the Magical Rotary Year to address unemployment and economic empowerment. The initiative has successfully created access to job opportunities and has recorded over ten confirmed employments for both Rotaractors and non-Rotaractors, delivering measurable socio-economic impact through the Rotaract community.
He previously served as the District Administrator of Rotaract District 9111, where he provides administrative leadership, coordination, and institutional support. He now serves as the District Rotaract Representative Elect (DRRE) for Rotaract District 9111, Nigeria, continuing to demonstrate vision, accountability, and dedication to Rotary ideals.
